Treesa Builders is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our finance team in Vancouver. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries as required.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and company accounts.
- Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and payroll entries.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow analysis.
- Coordinate with project managers on cost tracking and financial planning.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Monitor and manage petty cash and company expenditures.
- Identify discrepancies and propose solutions for financial improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in construction or contracting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel in particular).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
