We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to oversee and coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and resources across our construction sites. This role is ideal for professionals who can ensure smooth supply chain operations and timely project deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the transportation of construction materials and equipment.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure accuracy and on-time arrival.
- Maintain detailed records of logistics activities, deliveries, and inventory movement.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to forecast material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company procedures during transport and handling.
- Resolve logistical issues and delays efficiently to prevent project disruptions.
- Assist in preparing reports and updates on logistics performance and material availability.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Executive or in a similar logistics role, preferably in construction.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management, transportation processes, and supply chain software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive in handling logistical challenges.
