This role is ideal for a responsible professional who can efficiently manage daily cash transactions while maintaining accuracy, transparency, and excellent customer service within a busy construction-related business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations to customers and clients.
- Maintain and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Record financial transactions in the system with proper documentation.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for daily cash reconciliation.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist customers with payment-related inquiries in a professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Report discrepancies or irregularities to management immediately.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar financial handling role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cash management procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and billing software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
