We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing construction projects to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze project designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Estimate material, labor, and project costs while maintaining budget control.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to approved plans and timelines.
- Manage project documentation, progress reports, and technical records.
- Provide engineering solutions to design or construction challenges as they arise.
- Ensure all projects meet local building codes and environmental standards.
- Support quality control, safety checks, and site coordination efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, materials, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and codes in Canada is an asset.
