Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Produce general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and material lists for approval and fabrication.
- Develop mechanical concepts, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards and conducting basic calculations.
- Establish material lists for equipment fabrication.
- Perform simple design calculations under the supervision of an engineer.
- Occasionally conduct dimensional surveys of existing equipment at the customer’s site.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
Qualification Requirements:
- College diploma in mechanical drafting or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in team settings.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks software; ERP experience is an advantage.
- Strong time management, communication (both written and oral), and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Bilingual skills in French and English would be an asset.
