We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team in Vancouver. This role is essential in supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and reports.
  • Process invoices, expense claims, and payment vouchers with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support monthly and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Maintain records of accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial transactions.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
  • Good communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
