Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the site.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Stack and organize materials in designated areas to maximize space efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management by keeping accurate records of materials moved.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for efficient material distribution.
- Handle materials with care to avoid damage during transport and storage.
- Ensure compliance with all company and industry safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a construction or warehouse setting.
