Join our dynamic HR team at Treesa Builders in Vancouver! As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our human resources operations, contributing to the smooth running of our office, and ensuring that our team members have a positive experience from recruitment to onboarding and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings and reviewing resumes.
- Support the preparation and management of employment contracts.
- Assist with work permit entries online and track their progress.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare applications for Canada Summer Jobs and handle the required reporting.
- Support office management tasks, including ordering office supplies.
- Assist the HR team in developing and maintaining the employee handbook.
- Update the organization’s phone chart and organizational chart as needed.
- Coordinate and execute employee wellness initiatives and activities.
- Provide data entry support to the Finance Team.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Remuneration:
- 35 hours per week, full-time
