We are currently looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team in Vancouver. This role will play a key part in ensuring our systems, networks, and users remain secure, supported, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the company.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve IT problems for end-users both remotely and on-site.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights using appropriate tools.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, including internet connectivity and internal systems.
- Ensure regular data backups and support recovery processes as needed.
- Assist in maintaining IT documentation, inventory, and asset tracking.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for external support and procurement.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and network fundamentals.
- Familiarity with basic cybersecurity practices and data protection measures.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft-related credentials are a plus.
