We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining financial records, ledgers, and journals accurately.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation for accounting entries.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and expense tracking.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Support senior accountants during audits and financial reviews.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Responsible, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
