Project Manager – Civil

Treesa Builders is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager – Civil to join our team in Vancouver. Role and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring alignment with the scope of services.
• Work closely with Directors, Principals, and upper management to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
• Develop project work plans, monitor budgets, schedules, and hours to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Serve as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, liaising with stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and upper management.
• Direct and oversee the creation of high-quality documentation, providing guidance on technical details to develop construction drawings and specifications.
• Review and conduct code reviews of construction documents to ensure quality assurance.
• Lead the preparation of permit packages, tender packages, and manage the tendering process.
• Lead client and consultant coordination meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Manage the Contract Administration process, including handling RFIs, site visits, field reports, and submittal reviews independently.
• Drive projects forward to successful completion, motivating and challenging the team to perform at their best.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in civil construction.
• Licensed Architect preferred.
• Strong technical proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise staff and lead project teams.
• Strong knowledge of current building codes, construction techniques, and building science.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take ownership of tasks and deliverables.
• Experience in institutional projects within healthcare, justice, research, or sports facilities is an asset.
