Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and material usage.
- Store materials properly, ensuring safety, security, and easy accessibility.
- Issue materials to construction teams based on work requirements and maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and site managers to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the storage area.
- Assist in preparing reports and updates related to stock and inventory management.
Requirements and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in storekeeping or inventory management is an advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in inventory management, preferably in construction or related industry.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems or ERP software is preferred.
- Ability to handle materials carefully and safely.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive.
